WAHPEPAH’S KITCHEN - A NEW INDIGENOUS RESTAURANT

There’s a new restaurant and it’s opening today (Nov. 13, 2021)!! Even better, it’s the first sit-down Native American restaurant to open in Oakland! Wahpepah’s Kitchen is owned by Chef Crystal Wahpepah, a member of the Kickapoo tribe, and features a ton of indigenous inspired dishes such as blue corn waffles, blueberry bison meatballs and a variety of colorful Native salads and stews. YUM!! Be sure to show some love and support and check out her restaurant!
